Carlisa: I used to love this song, too. I have no idea when the last time I've heard it, either. And then when they put it in the "Billy Jack" movie, that was a nice touch. If I recall correctly, the townspeople were rustling up the horses off an Indian Reservation. They had no right to be doing so. Along stumbles Billy Jack into the situation, and he tries to rectify the situation. Of course, the townspeople have no respect for the Indian culture or their land...and Billy got a tad bit mad. Lol. Off to jail with him. But I love the solidarity of the raised arms in the end of the video...."Power to Billy Jack". I can't remember if he accomplished anything in the movie or not. Do you? Did the Indians "win" their horses back from the rustlers....unlawful to take them off the Reservation? I *think* there was a second movie made. But sequels are never all that good. But for a 1970's movie, this was a good story....human rights versus the Towering Inferno. Lol.

Great song! Makes me want to look up other music of the era. Nice project for the summer.
